Staff Selection Commission – Combined Higher Secondary Level is a national level entrance examination. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. This authority conducts the exam every year and this year also it conducted the exam. Now, It has announced an official notification for the year 2018. As per official Notification, Exam of Tier – I will be conducted on 20th March 2018 – 20th April 2018 and exam of Tier – II will conduct on 24th June 2018. So all the interested and eligible candidates can fill the application form before the last date. Submission of application form will start from 18th Nov. 2017 and the last date for submission of an application for is 18th Dec. 2017. All the candidates fill the application form as per eligibility criteria. if any candidate will not fill the application form as per eligibility criteria then his/her application form will not be accepted. SSC CHSL 2018 Examination Pattern: –

 

Tier – I: –

 

  • Mode of Exam: – Exam will be in CBT mode.
  • The medium of Exam: – Exam will be in English & Hindi languages simultaneously.
  • Duration Of Exam: – exam will be 75 minutes.
  • of Questions: – Total 100 questions will be mentioned in the exam
  • Type of Question: – Tier – I have MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • Marking Scheme: – For every correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative marking: – For every wrong answer 1 mark will deduct.

Tier – II: –

 

Tier – II is a descriptive examination. In this tier, they will give you a topic and you have to write about that topic within 1 hour up to 250 words.

 

  • The medium of Exam: – Exam will be held in bilingual i.e. English & Hindi language.
  • Mode of Exam: – Exam will be held in offline mode.
  • Duration Of Exam: – Duration of exam will be 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions: – A topic will be given to writing.
  • Type of Question: – Tier – II is descriptive.

 

Tier – III: – Tier – III is a typing test/skill test. This tier is especially for Data Entry Operator & Lower Division Clerk.

 

Data Entry Operator: – For this post, a candidate speed should be 2000 – 2200 strokes in 15 minutes OR 15000 strokes in one hour.

 

Lower Division Clerk: – For this post, a candidate speed should be 35 wpm in English & 30 wpm in Hindi.
