SSC CGL Syllabus 2018

SSC CGL fully known as Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level.It has recently announced a notification for the recruitment of ministerial department, Organisation etc. All the posts are of Group “B” and Group “C”. In group “B” and Group “C” some post are of Gazetted and some are Non – Gazetted.When you will fill the application form then you have to keep in mind that which preferences you are going to fill firstly because on the basis of preference you will get the preference of job if you will crack the exam. For e.g.  you want to become Assistant Audit Officer but at the time of fill the application form you fill Assistant Section Officer at the top then when you will crack the exam then they will give you first preference of Assistant Section Officer. SSC CGL 2018  Examination Pattern: –

Tier – I: –

  • Mode of Exam: – Tier – I is Computer based examination.
  • Medium of Exam: – Exam will be conducted in two languages (English & Hindi).
  • Duration of Exam: – Duration of Exam will be 1 hours.
  • Of Questions: – 100 MCQs(Multiple Choice Questions) will be mentioned in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: – For every correct answer, candidates will carry 2 marks.
  • Negative Marking: – For a wrong answer 0.50 mark will be deducted.

  • Of Questions: – 100 MCQs(Multiple Choice Questions) for Quantitative Abilities, Statistics and General Studies (Finance & Economics) and 200 MCQs(Multiple Choice Questions) for English Language & Comprehension will be mentioned in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: – For every correct answer, candidates will carry 2 marks.
  • Negative Marking: – For a wrong answer 0.50 mark will be deducted for Quantitative Abilities, Statistics and General Studies (Finance & Economics) and for English Language & Comprehension 0.25 mark will be deducted.
